Players Pledge

MMC PLAYER’S PLEDGE:

I hereby agree to be a positive role model and understand the lessons learned on the football field will help form and develop aspects of my life beyond youth sports. I accept responsibility for my actions on the football field and will strive to represent my team with the utmost respect.

I Pledge the following:

1.  I will do my best to have fun!

2.  I will be a good sport, win or lose, and be honest, fair, and show good sportsmanship to all coaches, players, officials, parents, and fans.

3.  I will learn the value of commitment to the team. I will attend every practice and game that I can, and will notify the Head Coach if I cannot. I will play for my teammates above all else.

4.  I will put personal goals aside for the betterment of the team.

5.  I will show courtesy and respect to teammates, opponents, coaches and officials.

6.  I will realize that athletic contests, including practice sessions are educational experiences and opportunities.

7.  I will not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct.

8.  I will not engage in rude behavior.

9.  I will treat everyone, including coaches, parents, players and officials with respect, regardless of race, creed, color, nationality, gender or ability.
